My research aims to improve and advance communication and collaboration in today’s highly networked society. My research activities can be organized into four main themes: collaborations in the digital domain, digital media, data analytics and visualization, and e-learning. I am fond of activity theory and phenomenology, which have equipped me with new capabilities to understand the interwoven pieces of our human society. I believe that scholarly work should improve our insights, inform decisions, and promote actions that will improve lives.
